John Burroughs Elementary School In January 2022, a group of JBES students began their journey as they unearthed the rich history of their school and the surrounding community. With new members in their club, they continued their work during the 2022-2023 school year.

John Burroughs Park is a 1.78 acre neighborhood park in the Greater Hilltop community. History: In 2022, the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department reopened John Burroughs Park after a major capital renovation to give the space a new playground, shelter, and other park amenities.
