En 1989, à l’âge de 16 ans, Sadie Benning s’empare de sa caméra-jouet pour enregistrer sa propre réalité. À la manière d’un fanzine filmé, iel évoque ses rêves, son homosexualité, et la « règle stupide » qui l’empêche de se marier.

23 mars 2024 · An exhibition of sixteen new paintings by Sadie Benning, exploring the desire for connection, the need for safety and the want for an expansive change in how we experience and communicate love. The works are abstract and figurative, using wood, aqua resin, casein and acrylic gouache, and imbued with the artist's touch and thought processes.
