Adam Shore is an American musician and the original vocalist for glam metal band Warrant. He sang on early Warrant demos such as "You've Got A Broken Heart" and "Tease Machine". He also co-wrote the Warrant song "Thin Disguise" (which was originally a B-side) with his replacement Jani Lane, with Lane ending up on the final recording.
Warrant is an American glam metal band from Hollywood, California. The group was formed in summer 1984 by lead vocalist Adam Shore and drummer Max Asher (real name Max Mazursky). Also in the original line-up included were lead guitarist Josh Lewis, rhythm guitarist Erik Turner, and bassist Chris Vincent.

Création
Warrant est fondé en juillet 1984 à l'initiative du guitariste Erik Turner avec le bassiste Jerry Dixon. Les premiers véritables membres du groupe étaient ces derniers, accompagnés d'Adam Shore au chant, Max Asher à la batterie et du guitariste Josh Lewis qui ont ensuite été remplacés respectivement par Jani Lane, Steven Sweet et Joey Allen. Cette formation complète était constituée en mars 1987.
Les débuts
Le groupe, jouant jusqu'alors dans différents clubs de Los Angeles, commençait à assoir sa notoriété. Une démo fut réalisée en septembre 1987 pour le label Paisley Park Records appartenant au chanteur Prince. Pourtant, le véritable tournant fut sans nul doute la signature du groupe chez Columbia Records en janvier 1988, lui permettant dans la foulée de commencer l'enregistrement d'un premier album. Mort de Jani Lane
Le chanteur Jani Lane, qui quitta le groupe en 2008, fut retrouvé mort en août 2011 dans un hôtel de Woodland Hills, un quartier de Los Angeles, à la suite d'une intoxication alcoolique.
