Né en Inde en 1961, Tarsem Dhandwar Singh étudie à la Bishop Cotton School de Shimla, puis est diplômé du Art Center College of Design de Pasadena en Californie.

He directed The Cell (2000), The Fall (2006, also screenwriter and producer), Immortals (2011), Mirror Mirror (2012), Self/less (2015), and Dear Jassi (2023).
Tarsem Singh is a filmmaker who has directed music videos for R.E.M., Lady Gaga and others, and feature films such as The Cell, The Fall and Mirror Mirror. He was born in India and studied film in the USA, and is known for his colorful and stylized visuals.
