Gibault School for Boys. Coordinates: 39°23′21.4″N 87°23′49.8″W. Conceived in 1909 by the Indiana Knights of Columbus, and named for Fr. Pierre Gibault, the Gibault School for Boys was dedicated on October 9, 1921, in Terre Haute, Indiana as a "home for wayward boys". [1]

The first time returning to his mother who only sent him back. Later he fled again, this time to Indianapolis where he rented a room and supported himself by burglarizing stores at night.
From the original Smith Mansion, Gibault has grown to become a beautiful 360-acre campus. Gibault has expanded services from treating only “wayward boys” to providing a variety of residential and community-based treatment services to all genders, children, families, and members of the community.
