Gerald Alston (born November 8, 1951) is an American soul/R&B singer, and the lead singer of the Grammy Award winning group The Manhattans between late 1970 and 1988, recording 25 top 40 R&B and 12 Hot 100 Pop Singles.
Gerald Alston, Troy May, and David Tyson have been touring together since a 1993 group reunion (with group co-founder Blue Lovett, until his 2014 death), but their only studio album in all of those years was the excellent 2002 release Even Now (later rebadged as Men Cry Too).
For the past thirteen years, The Manhattans featuring Gerald Alston and Blue Lovett have been enjoying new found success, performing nationally and around the world. Just to name a few places, Japan, South Africa, Jamaica, and Bermuda.
