The Actors Studio Drama School prepares you for a career as an actor, director, or playwright over the course of three years. Our continuously evolving curriculum is guided by Constantin Stanislavski’s groundbreaking “system” as set forth in his three books, An Actor Prepares, Building a Character, and Creating a Role.
The Actors Studio has partnered with Pace University to establish a fully accredited, tuition-based Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) degree. Located at Pace’s New York City campus, the 3-year MFA program offers three distinct tracks: Acting, Directing, and Playwriting.
We offer undergraduate programs and graduate programs within the Actors Studio Drama School that balance strong academics with intensive, pre-professional training. Sands graduates are prepared to enter the workplace as knowledgeable, disciplined artists devoted to the integrity, pursuit, and preservation of their craft.
The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University is a three-year graduate program in the theater arts. It has been located at Pace University in New York since 2006 and grants Master of Fine Arts degrees in acting, directing, and playwriting.
