23 févr. 2016 · After downloading the eicfg removal utility, you need to extract it, since its in a .zip file. Just right click it and click Extract All. Double click the eicfg_remover.exe file to launch it. Browse to where the Windows 7 Image (.ISO file) is stored, select it and click Open. That’s it! the ei.cfg file is now removed.

10 août 2015 · Start by opening Settings – Click Start > Settings or type Settings in the search bar and click it or press Windows key + i. Click Update and Security. Click Recovery then click Get started under Go back to Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 (depending on the previous version you running).
31 juil. 2023 · I'm clearing out some old PCs that are running OEM Windows 7 licenses. However, I do not have the previous installation disks and there is not a factory restore point in the list of the system restores. When I go to try to reset windows in backups and restore it only lets me choose disk or restore point, no factory reset settings.
31 janv. 2019 · Windows Defender in Windows 7 is meant to provide some basic protection until an Anti-Virus program is installed. IMO it's a good idea to give the user the free choice which Anti-Virus program he/she wants to install... I doubt that Microsoft will put any more thought into anything concerning Windows 7. ===.
11 oct. 2023 · I am trying to upgrade a PC from windows 7 Pro (OEM_DM) to windows 10 Pro. I did so by unpacking the ISO and running the Setup.exe. it ran the upgrade and everything looked good, then i saw there was no license added. I did copy my Windows 7 Pro key and tries to use that but it gave me an error: 0x803fa067 or 0xC004F050

Windows 7 Backup after upgrade to Windows 11. As I understand the new feature update has "hidden" Windows 7 Backup that was included with Windows 10. However, my recent web searches say I can access it via the System-> Storage-> Advanced Storage settings -> Backup Options. However, this takes me to Windows Account Settings for OneDrive Backup.
