2000 Saab 9-5 aero manual 97k miles Low mpg and fuel smell. Just replaced the spark plugs (ngk) and the cassette. There’s no fuel smell when driving, but after the cars been sitting for a while it starts to smell. In the far back of the muffler (under the car) there was a small drop of fuel.
A guide to the Saab J35XS based on personal experience. After getting my feel for the swedish tech tree and grinding it for a bit now, i feel like i got pretty good at the J35XS. In my matches i also see a lot of other J35XS' eating missiles left right and center almost every match so i want to help some fellow grinders out and point out some ...
24 janv. 2022 · It's the most reliable one I have owned. I bought it from a former Saab dealership though, and it had been maintained by them since it was new. The only drawback to the snow is that most models lack the XWD system because it’s hard to source parts and there is a lack of mechanics who are willing to service that system.

26 oct. 2021 · All help would be appreciated, thank you in advance! In my opinion and experience the 1.9TiD is the best diesel engine the 9-3 ever had available. It is very reliable and with the 170ish Hirsch HP tuning it will also be very fuel efficient (for its age and weight). I drove one from 225.000 km to 275.000+ km and never had any engine related issues.

18 févr. 2023 · I've always wanted a SAAB and prices are dirt cheap. In the old school top gear they talk about SAABs as a bullet proof car, but it seems more recent models don't have the best reliability whenever I search it I encounter SA-AB stories. Anyhow I like the look, many of the features (wagon, manual, ski pass through window switches in middle, pockets in front of seat, safety, and how the old 9-3s ...
25 janv. 2023 · But SAAB never readily dipped into the GM parts bin - even for innovations that were developed post-takeover. A classic example, of a part the customer could see, SAAB developed their own GPS head unit. It kept SAAB quirky but also meant that GM didn't realise the synergies mapped in the original acquisition.
So, I bought a saab on an auction for 1,300 USD. Currently I've sunken about I'd say 600-800 USD, I would say though I got really lucky on my purchase, as it had 180km on the odometer, and the maintence records had the previous owner put in about 2k worth of needed parts. But aside from it. Parts depending on pre gm and when produced by gm can ...
3 avr. 2022 · The 2.8 was not a good engine to me, and this was ten years ago. The high engine operation temperature combined with poor insulation can contribute to a lot of parts failing, anything plastic. While not necessarily expensive it can become pretty tiring getting stranded over hoses and reservoirs. Mine ate coils as well.
