The qBittorrent project aims to provide an open-source software alternative to µTorrent. Additionally, qBittorrent runs and provides the same features on all major platforms (FreeBSD, Linux, macOS, OS/2, Windows). qBittorrent is based on the Qt toolkit and libtorrent-rasterbar library.
qBittorrent has been in the OpenSuse official repository since v11.3. One-click install here.

23 oct. 2023 · The most recent update v4.6.0 (Oct 22th 2023) now has something called the "UI Theme Configuration", allowing the customisation of the default theme: Options → Behaviour → Interface → Customize UI Theme... The customisation panel presents a list of colours and icons for both a "Dark Mode" and a "Light Mode".

25 mai 2022 · Some dark qBittorrent skins available on the net are hard to read because they have dark text on a dark background and not enough contrast. In some, the progress percentage number doesn't fully display with most resolution settings. So, I made these two dark skins with more contrast.
I'm using Qbittorrent for a few years now, and had never trouble with it. Until a few weeks ago no torrents were downloading anymore. At the bottom I can see a yellow Icon saying "no direct connection". There is a green arrow on "downloading: 0B/s". Log says it has a successful connection.
16 févr. 2024 · Try resetting your settings by following these steps: 1- Close qBittorrent. 2- Go to: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\qBittorrent. 3- Delete this file: qBittorrent. 4- Start qBittorrent. Last edited by NXZ on Mon Feb 19, 2024 9:17 am, edited 1 time in total. cattips.
25 oct. 2014 · Hello guys, I'm an uploader and I've just downloaded qBittorrent (I used uTorrent for many years). I will be glad if someone else could explain to me how the "super seeding mode" precisely works. I usually seed at high speed (~5 MB/s) and I'm trying to use this client at its best with the purpose to seed in a better way.
