  1. Very very fun to play with DFCO. My C5 no longer pops during Decelleration. Not that I care about that, Lots of C5 customers complain though. Going into turns is fun as this provides quite a bit of engine braking. 09-30-2004 #6. Chris@HPTuners. HP Tuners Owner. Join Date.

  2. 18 nov. 2020 · I could set the minimum spark cells to -30....no change. I also noticed that it doesn't matter what I run in the main tables. I could have them set to 5 degrees or I can set them to 35 degrees, on decel my car just pulls timing until it's around 0 and then stops. Now, I know the Gen IV cars have DFCO entry and exit spark control, as well as ...

  3. DFCO has been on my list of things to figure out. A long time ago some one told me that DFCO does not fully shut down the injectors. I am still wondering if this is true and how we can tell. I was going to put a switch on my injector harness so I can manually ensure complete power cut during dfco to determine if there is any difference.

  4. I don't know why yours is so low. Attached is the stock table from my truck. You do have to be below this table to enter DFCO. have you checked that are actually entering DFCO? You would see your inj PW go to about 0.1 ms when you are. When I was tuning mine, the easiest way for me was to log TPS%, inj PW, main spark advance, speed, RPM, and ...

  5. 30 juin 2008 · He stated that when letting off the throttle during cruise it goes rich. So when letting off the throttle during a cruise state, the car will enter decleration fuel cutoff as long as all the dfco parameters are met. And if dfco is disabled, then fuel is not cut to the motor and will cause a rich state.

  6. Decel / Idle Return / Tq ctrl Spark. I'm trying to sort out my last little glitch in using TQ based decel and return to idle. From 1500 rpm or higher, it returns beautifully to idle. Swift and smooth. The issue happens when I decelerate (in gear) to under 1500 rpm, then kick in the clutch. It doesn't stall, but can fall to 400 or 500 rpm before ...

  7. 31 mai 2019 · badwolf - the lnf ecm doesn't have traditional charts like that. julian vm - on the lnf ecm if i remeber correctly its under torque management/general/etc limits. that chart controls injector operation during torque management - i think thats the chart that controls the dfco on that ecm. you'll want to zero out columns 0-2 and leave 3 all at 15 ...

  8. Senior Tuner. Join Date. Jan 2014. Location. Australia. Posts. 2,027. camshaft prob just raises the airmass a little for decel so it may not be getting low enough now to trigger DFCO, just look at your logs and adjust the thresholds to suit. 03-14-2023 #3.

  9. 6 août 2024 · There's only so many parameters on the DFCO tab, I'd assuming an answer like "you should be adjusting Enable MAP Hyst and Delay table" would be possible without a tune and a log, yes. But you're assuming the issue is with DFCO. This is why we ask for the tune and log because assumptions are often wrong. 08-08-2024 #5.

  10. This will result in very high vacuum (low Map) and that is what is used to in part to trigger DFCO. reapplying the pedal will disengage DFCO and your map will then increase and in a stock setup with stock cam those are reasonable values. If you have a cam or a vacum leak, you may not be able to hit the 18 kPa trigger.
