Dorothy Leigh Sayers (Oxford, Oxfordshire, 13 juin 1893 - Witham, Essex, 17 décembre 1957) est une femme de lettres et une romancière britannique, également poète, dramaturge, essayiste et traductrice.
Sayers formed one lasting friendship in these years: Ivy Shrimpton, eight years her senior, her first cousin as Nell's niece. Shrimpton, raised in California as an infant but educated in an Anglican convent school in Oxford, made extended visits to the Bluntisham rectory.
