Therefore have gives the ‘now’ aspect to the verb-phrase, while done gives the ‘completed’ aspect. In other words “I have done the job” could be re-written as.

It is hard to get right ("it" refers to the exercise, "it" is not a dummy subject here) So this "it" is a pronoun with a syntactic function ("subject"), and no "meaning." The meaning encoded in pronoun is a matter of reference.

They didn't want to be naked. They suddenly felt naked. Bare isn't used often for a whole person, but is applied more often to parts of the body. That's a start.

Past Simple refers to actions determined in the concrete moment of the past. If I say "If I understood .. " it will imply a concrete moment in the past when I understood.
18 août 2010 · Looking Forward.. You can say "with reference to the subject mentioned above,". "With reference to the above mentioned subject " is not correct (in my opinion). It sounds rather odd. Also : see aforementioned.
