Don’t Worry Darling plays like a bad Op-Ed piece that wants you to believe its good intentions are more significant and righteous than they actually are. - David Fear, Rolling Stone. Pugh is superb, while Wilde confidently steps up to a bigger subject and budget to deliver a slick, beautiful film.
I don't know why people only considered the "patriarchy" or "anti-feminist" description of the simulation. Personally I don't think it was about it at all. They could've placed the story in 2150 and it would've been the same message.
