The culture, intensity and Catholicism of the TV series was missing and being written by and for Brits, Hong Kong culture wasn't really looked into. There really was no need to film there and, as with other TV specials, money was thrown at this but rarely pulls it off. A good watch but lacks depth.
I just watched "white GHOST" for the first time recently when rewatching the old Crackers before seeing the new one off movie "Nine Eleven". I didn't know "White Ghost" even existed or as it's called here in the Colonies "Lucky White Ghost" it was a major dissapointment terrible episode I could write 2 thousand words on why it was so bad but won't.
